the mom´s edit of a blog: welcome

welcome to my mom´s blog

A lot of times I´ve been thinking about sharing all that my mom loves.
She´s obviously one of my biggest inspirations in life and here it comes.
I´m going to show you a lot of #tb throwbacks, because obviously she has inspired me in the past as well as she does in the present.

I´ll start with the photos she sent me just today.
It is finally beginning to be full spring. The sun is out for several hours in a day and a lot of trees and bushes are blooming.
I might follow this blog entry up with a blog entry on my site to show you the blooming flowers in my area.
I´ve done this several times on my blog. Just choosing one day in the spring/autumn/winter and dedicating photos to nature.

so, here we have Syringa (lilac). As far as I know it has been always my mom´s favorite flower/plant. I remember times when my sister and me would go out for a walk with scissors to collect some branches of the bush. We would have to act quickly because most of the Syringa would be private property and if we´d get caught in the act of violating the plant... trouble.

But the pot of lilac in the apartment and the excitement linked to it was always beautiful. My mom is a great interiour decorator. She knows exactly how to highlight flowers in the flat. I try to copy all the time.
